Vienna/Hamburg, 15th October 2026 – Flinn and avasis solutions GmbH are deepening their partnership with a new integration that connects Flinn's AI-powered research and evaluation directly with the Polarion solution of avasis solutions GmbH, the product lifecycle management system many MedTech companies rely on to manage clinical evaluation and post-market surveillance.
A Continuous Need, Now Solved
Over time, we received continuous requests from customers asking us to support a Polarion integration. Now, we've taken that first step.
Before, connecting the two systems meant manual work. Customers would export relevant findings from Flinn, download them, and upload them into Polarion by hand. Beyond the time this took, it also introduced risks like human error, lost data, and quality issues that often went unnoticed.
What's Live Today
The first market-ready integration connects Flinn's AI-powered research and evaluation directly with the Polarion solution by avasis solutions GmbH, which already searches and imports safety-relevant data from national authority databases semi-automatically today. This includes, for example, interfaces to the FDA's MAUDE and Recall databases. Flinn's research now complements this by covering further sources that previously had to be searched manually. The already-evaluated, relevant results from Flinn flow directly into Polarion, with no manual uploads required. This integration is available to customers by the end of 2026.

Flinn and avasis plan to extend the partnership further, with an integration for clinical evaluation that will connect AI-powered literature research directly to Polarion as well.
